Guys, let me help you out …

You don’t want to look like a cheap bastard right? Trust me, you don’t.  Did you know your girlfriend will be asked what you got her?

“Hey what did your boyfriend get you?”

“He didn’t get me anything!” ;(

“What an asshole! You should dump him!”

Your girlfriend secretly wants to BRAG. But she can’t if you’re gonna be cheap. Think of all the people she has to impress, her sisters, hot friends, co-workers, the stupid chick that’s her nemesis at work.  If you play your cards right, you’ll impress them all. (they might even want to hook up with you. Shhhh! oops)

So you want to actually hook her up? Valentines day is Sunday,February 14th 2010 ! If this was on a week day, you should have all this stuff delivered to her at work. But its on a Sunday this year, you lucky guy. Surprise her Sunday morning. Lets get started:

#1 Chocolates: Get the nicest heart shaped box of chocolates you can get. (bigger is even better) She probably will never eat them all, but the presentation says a lot! Go with a name brand, like Sees or hersheys. None if that Mexican candy you buy on the side of the road. And no, its not “just the thought that counts.” That’s lame.

#2 Roses: Yes, Roses! Not carnations , daisies or any of that cheap stuff wrapped in cellophane with a sale sticker. Roses because they are elegant and classy. Some other flowers will do, like orchids, tulips, stargazers… but make sure its nice!

#3 Romance: Its Valentine’s day. Even though you got her some nice things, that does not seal the deal. You need to give her a moment of your best personal time. Put some effort and get a candle lit. Remember to breath and recognize what love making is. Slow down. You’re giving her something that nobody else can. (hopefully)

So those were just some basic tips from me, Jen. If you follow this info correctly, you should get some great home cooked meals for the rest of the week and an absence of “bitching/nagging” hehe. She might even forgive you for being an asshole last month.
